Art is an integral component of the Indigenous culture of the Stardale girls. Experience the First Person narrative by interacting with these young urban Indigenous girls who are painting their own stories. The girls’ creative processes are directed by the talented Cree-Metis artist Barbara La Pointe and First Nations artist Ken Bourassa.
Yahoo or as one of the little girls said to me YEHAW. Stardale will be on July 12 in the CORE on Calgary’s Stephen Ave Mall in front of the Scotia Centre. Live Plein Air Painting will be the creative choice for the day.
The time will be 11:00 Am until 2:00 PM. Enjoy Stampede and Western themed art and visit with our Stardale artists as they create original paintings on canvas from 11 am until 2 pm.
