STARDALE WOMEN’S GROUP welcomes you to join us for “POP UP ART IN THE PARK” this July 1, in celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday.
Art is an integral component of the Indigenous culture of the Stardale girls. Experience the first person narrative by interacting with these young urban Indigenous girls who are painting their own stories. The girls’ creative processes are directed by the talented Cree-Metis artist Barbara La Pointe and First Nations artist Ken Bourassa.
We will be located at the Millennium Bridge on the south-side entrance of Eau Claire.
Live Plein Air Painting and exhibition commences at 11:00 AM and continues to 2:00 PM on July 1.
Stardale is excited to include the public in this interactive art event, which is the kick-off and prelude to an exciting series of Pop Up Art events throughout the summer.
Yeehaw-Calgary Stampede 2017 is fast approaching! Join us for Live Plein Air Painting on July 12, 2017. Stardale Artists will be on Calgary Stephen Avenue Mall directly in front of the Scotia Centre. Enjoy Stampede and Western themed art and visit with our Stardale artists as they create original Western Themed paintings on canvas from 11 am until 2 pm
